Iphoneography book + an Ipad must have app

I´m back after a vacation break - spend some amazing days in Bruxelles and Amsterdam! I´m wondering how you all are spending your Summer and I hope you are having a blast! I wanna share with you two tips for you in this blog post - if you are a mad mac gadget girl like me you´ll like them :-)

1. IPAD APP: My lovely friend D told me about the most amazing Ipad app - I was addicted at once! It´s called FLIPBOARD. It´s basically collecting all your favorite stuff to read + your social sites and then you can flip through it like it´s a magazine - just using one finger. For bloggers and all creative people this is a great way to stay up to date with what´s new and be inspired all in a very short amount of time. You can see more in the short presentation video below.

2. IPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY: This Summer I have had so much fun playing with Iphone photography. I left my heavy Canon 7D at home and only took my Iphone with me on vacation to Amsterdam and Bruxelles. Iphone photos can actually be pretty decent, so to get you started I can recommend the book; The art of Iphoneography by Stephanie C. Roberts. You can always take a look at my iphone snapshots on Instagram;

Iphone photography and Instagram

Image jisabel

I´m so behind...my instant Monday series....is this week instant Wedensday...lol..anyway I´m here now, with great info about new apps I LOVE - don´t miss out on these, they are my faves so fare! But first I wanna introduce you to an artist I found via instagram.

Find her on instagram and enjoy her creative and beautiful pictures.

The Iphone apps I wanna introduce to you today are great! The first one is CameraSharp which allows you to finally take better photos with your Iphone camera - the quality really becomes better with this app! Your images gets sharper, brighter and you can zoom too. I love it!

The next new app is also fantastic, it´s Phototoaster - I must say that until now it´s my number one favorite Iphone post processing tool.

The PhotoToaster combines all the essential ingredients for photo processing in a single product. It employs fast non-destructive image adjustments and provides three different ways to adjust them. The Toaster can do everything from simple lighting adjustments and color corrections to elaborate multi-layer composite effects. I adore the sliders function - it make it so easy to control the settings!

Technical Specifications:

- sixteen adjustments
- dozens of global and category presets
- numerous border options
- non-destructive editing
- live slider updating
 - save to album, email, sms, facebook and tumblr

That´s all for today - let´s meet on instagram and share som great pics :-) You can find me by looking for @Christinagreve - see you there!

Instant Monday (instagram and Iphoneography)

So what´s new on instagram? In last weeks instagram post someone asked me; "how do I see a collection of my own photos on the instagram Iphone edtion"? And I said; you can´t.... but Instagram just made it possible...yay, so to get this function you need to update your instagram app. When istagram is updated you go to Instagram - profile - your photos! And there you see all your photos - a nice feature if you wanna show friends and family what you have been up to.

I´m so in love with instagram and I enjoy following some great photographers, here is a small selection of some of my favorite pictures uploaded during last week....

They are amazing right! I also wanna give you some Iphone photography tips today as well. The first one is an image editing tool  called PhotoForge, and it is as close to Photoshop as you can get on a mobile phone. With image editing tools never before seen on a phone, it's a must-have for anyone interested in making creative photos on the go.

When you first open the app, you'll be surprised at the wide array of tools thrown your way. Like a desktop-based image manipulation software, you get a photo bucket (for quickly filling areas of the canvas with color), a color picker, a smudge tool, a cropping tool and eight different brushes. Really amazing! Look for this app:

The second tip I got for you today is the app Picframe

PicFrame allows you to join multiple photos into a single frame. Select a frame layout and then pan, zoom, mirror or rotate your images to the perfect position. Using a slider you can adjust the frame in real time, allowing certain images to have a larger space. The size of the border can be scaled and also a color or pattern applied to it. I love this app!

Here is a four of my photos put together with picframe:

And here are some more of my own pictures from last week.....

This one I shoot while driving...sorry..it was very stupid...but I just had to have this picture...

This one is from a cafe down town Aarhus Denmark - I love their burgers and retro interior :-)

Here is a picture of my breakfast...

And a snapshot from my house...Simba walking into the picture :-)

And this one is from a studio in Copenhagen.

That´s all for today darlings - hope you feel inspired to join instagram and have some fun with Iphoneography...see you there, just look for @christinagreve!

xoxo, Christina
